The most beautiful thing about stars are how close they look in the sky,
even when you reach towards they always stay within arms reach— untouchable. For roughly 48hrs we pulled a star from the sky into the 11th arrondissement, sharing our space & a few cherished 'bijoux'.

When we first met, it was a planned trip to Lake Como to photograph our new G.E. collection. We extended the trip to shoot in the centre of Milano, stopping for a few hidden gems placed in the city. Tiktok was definitely updated. We shot for a day and a half in Borghi, and I booked my flight to London as we ate in the busy strada — constantly scanning for a tell, none. She seemed to interact in the scenery as it was her first time also. When we did catch eyes, she smiled as if reassuring me complete presence in that moment. Then gone, again. In so many words I couldn't read her, and what was pieced together with an english-italian language barrier was followed by laughter, or a facial expression— which was another planet in itself.

It was the work with Marni that caught our eyes— now, more than graced for Estrella to model our new collection, we laid out our second iteration Cowhide Bags, and decided which she'd keep for herself.
We spoke about many topics whilst on train rides to locations, from food to fabric, la vie et l'amour.

Following the interview Estrella was signed to a new agency and began a series of shoots, including an Art series with Salomon. The work she did with us was in off-time between booked photography & her studies in fine sculpture.
